Play Ball!~by Mel

Energy fills the air. Red, white and blue are prevalent signs that you are among friends. While heading to your seat you can hear the sounds of vendors, fans and most beautifully the crack of a base hit or better. You sit down and feel the cool evening breeze...not too hot...not too cold...just right. Is this Goldilocks syndrome? No, it's just another night with the Tribe.

Last weekend we had the opportunity to spend time with some wonderful friends. Jeff and Rendy invited us to attend an Indian's game and we eagerly jumped at the chance. Rendy had won the tickets through work and we put this little gathering on the calendar as soon as Jeff's email invite entered my inbox. We met at their beautiful home and they had dinner prepared. Jeff cooked a fabulous meal of chicken with polenta and ragu. Wow! I never saw that side of him when we took home ec. in high school! The meal was filled with flowing wine, conversation and a sweet tiramisu topped it off. Afterwards we headed out to watch our home team take on the Padres. Sadly, our boys didn't bring home a win, but Chad and I felt like winners anyway as we had spent the evening with such great friends.

Thanks Jeff and Rendy. We hope to see you again soon! Next time you are in town we can sweeten the deal!

Bag of tricks~by Mar

You hear footsteps tapping on the front steps of your house...Could it be....YES! ITS THE UPS MAN!!!! (Then Mar and Mel come running inside to tear open the box that they have been waiting for!)
Yes, this is actually how excited we were to finally get to say that we were getting fashionable camera bags! This is Mar's bag, and her guard dog Riggs. The funny thing is, they kind of match each other!!!

Dad's Day~ by Mel

With just about an hour left before Father's Day ends, I wanted to post a few pics of the first man in my life. My Dad is an amazing soul and I could never form words that would express my feelings for him--though I try in my lengthy greeting card messages that are my trademark. :) Chad (my husband) and I went home to Litchfield this weekend and we visited with Mom and Dad. Any time we get to spend together is so precious. My Dad is my hero. Words that come to mind when I think of my Dad are: faith, moral, work ethic, humor, athletic, integrity, sacrificing, intelligent, encouragement, loyal, handsome, coach, honesty, always there...and the list could go on and on. He means more to me than could ever be expressed in a blog. Much of what I feel is more personal, so let me just end by saying this: Dad, thank you for all that you have been and all that you are to me. God has truly blessed me and I am grateful everyday for the gift you are in my life.

I LOVE YOU! Happy Father's Day. Love, Melissa :)

Baseball and their "MVP"

Mel and I have decided to blog about both our personal and professional "camera worthy" moments in life. We really enjoy putting our pictures into various types of videos, so here's a video of the Tiffin Business Baseball team winning their game last night, with the help of their "MVP" (Most Valuable Princess) Eden!

just a few more shots from Jaden's big day.

This photo shoot required a lot of running! I like to use my zoom lens because of its features, but when photographing children, (especially ones as fast as Jaden) I really have to be on my toes! I have enjoyed photographing Jaden throughout his milestones, and hope to see him again soon! Thanks for a great day Lacey and Jaden!
